Every other year, our 8th and 9th graders are given the opportunity to participate in a very special UU rite of passage called Coming of Age. Coming of Age, akin to confirmation or Bar Mitzvah, honors our young people as they leave childhood, begin to assume adult responsibilities, and begin to make faith decisions. Coming of Age classes are held once per month outside of regular Sunday school. In the spring, participants are honored with a special ceremony on RE Sunday.
If you would like your child to participate, please contact Eva Newbold, Director of Religious Education, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
